June 10, 2005; (Knoxville, Tennessee): The North America Country Music Associations, Int'l proudly announces it's Ninth Annual Country Music Week and NACMAI Hall of Fame and Award Show to be held March 6 - March 12, 2006, at the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Edie Cote will be competing in this competition. She will be representing New Hampshire. Come hear some of the best country, gospel and bluegrass music in the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Argentina. There will be competition and showcasing of aspiring artists from North, East, South, West United States, Canada, New Zealand and Argentina starting Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am until 11:30 pm each day and all of this is free to the general public at the Country Tonite Theater. NACMAI 2006 Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced at a later date.
The NACMAI Hall of Fame and Awards Show will be Sunday, March 12, 2006, at 1:00 pm at the Country Tonite Theater. Tickets for this event are $30 per person and may be purchased at the Country Tonite Theatre. Call 1-800-792-4308 for more ticket information as the show is reserved seating only.
The NACMAI will also be holding educational seminars on Friday, March 10, 2006, at the Comfort Inn on the Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee. The seminars are as follows with a $25 admission charge for all three seminars. Registration forms may be picked up at the NACMAI Registration table at the Country Tonite Theatre. Seminars and presenters will be announced at a later date.

Edie's "On My Way" CD is now available for purchase. This is a fundraising effort to contribute to the National Competition in TN being held in March of 2006.

Edie has been chosen to compete in the Northern Maine Aroostook Idol Competition that will begin on February 24th 2006 at UMFK in Fort Kent, ME She sang Broken Wing (Martina McBride) She did a wonderful job, but will not be continuing into the finals.

Edie won 4th place out of 644 contestants in the American Idol Underground Weekly Competition. These competitions are on going and continue to provide Edie musical exposure.

Edie was entered into both the 2008 and 2009 Aroostook Idol Competitions in Fort Kent, ME. She sang God's Will (Martina McBride) and Broken Road (Melodie Chittenden). She was not a finalist in either of these competitions.
